2014 Resolutions Link Up

I linked up with 2014 Resolutions Blog Party  A Peach for the Teach

2013 has been a busy year. I graduated with Educational Leadership Degree in Teacher Leadership and completed  renewal for National Board recertification.   I'm  looking forward to just teaching  and enjoying my kindergarten class.

When we return to school we are starting a research project that incorporates project based learning, technology and math. I've found a lot of great ideas and links. You can see them on Project Based Learning Pinterest BoardMy students showed a deep interest in nature activities this fall so we decided the focus of our project would be on outdoor learning, nature, etc.  I'm still in the planning stages and will be posting throughout the process. Winter is not the best time to plan outdoor activities but it will give the kids opportunities to bundle up and head outside to explore the changes of winter.

My resolutions for 2014 are posted below.   For my classroom I created a kid friendly unit that explains goals and resolutions and guides students to think of areas that they would like to improve. Last year my students really enjoyed this unit and I've added 30 pages to enrich what I started last year.  Go check it out at TPT New Year Goals and Resolutions Math & Literacy

  1. Hi, Marisa! I found your blog via the link-up. I am right there with you on the exercise and the crafting! I hope to do more of both in 2014 myself. Happy New Year!
